Exchange Grating Steps (3-D SE)

Steel Engineering > Extras > Exchange > Grating step

Use this function to exchange existing grating steps with other grating steps.

  1. Identify the grating step that you want to exchange.
  2. In the displayed catalogue, select the step that you want to use as the new grating step. Select the type and the material and confirm with OK.

The new grating step will be shown in a preview image.

  1. Specify a fitting point on the step, or right-click and choose the origin of the Part CS.
  2. Specify the position of the previously defined fitting point in the drawing. If you want to select the origin of the active coordinate system here, right-click and choose Origin.

 

You can also call this function via the context menu: Right-click the grating step and select Exchange .
