Symbol (P+ID)

P+ID > Symbol

The Symbol function group of the P+ID tab offers various function for the editing, processing and management of symbols.

Symbol
	Load symbol	When you select the function, a symbol selection window will be displayed. Symbols are identified in the list by •, 0-symbols by O.
Pull-down menu Load
	Edit symbol	Use this function to edit symbol data.
Pull-down menu Edit
	Move symbol, only X or Y	Use this function to move an individual symbol along the X- or Y-axis, using the P+ID sketching grid.
Pull-down menu Move
	Copy symbol, only X or Y	Creates a copy of an individual symbol by moving the original symbol along the X- or Y-axis, using the P+ID sketching grid.
Pull-down menu Copy
	Delete symbol	All identified symbols will be deleted with ESC.
