Assign Drive Symbol (P+ID)

P+ID > Symbol > Edit > Assign drive symbol

This function enables you to assign a Drive symbol to a General type or Pipe part symbol or change an existing assignment.

Use the cross-hairs to select the drive symbol and then the symbol to which it should be assigned.

Some dialogue text entries are automatically assigned to the drive symbol data mask: The entry for Plant code and Plant unit and Aggregate are taken over from the superior symbol.

If the superior symbol is a General type symbol
with an identifier according to DIN: the code,
with an identifier according to KKS: the aggregate designation

of the superior symbols is entered for the super-ordinate device.

If the superior symbol is a Pipe part type, entries for Pipeline No. and Part No. are taken over from the superior symbol.
