Mouse Button Functions (P+ID)

In HiCAD, mouse buttons are used as follows:

 

  • Activates parts, elements, part groups or other objects (according to the current mode of identification)
  • Selects/highlights objects
  • Calls functions
  • Confirms entries
  • Zooms drawing details
  • Activates context menus 
  • HiCAD displays a pop-up menu whenever you point the cursor at a function for which design variants/sub-functions are available, or one of these functions is already active.
  • If an object has been selected, a context menu with appropriate processing options is displayed. If, for example, dimensioning is active, then dimensioning functions are dis-played, or view options if a view is active, etc. The selected object is recognised as the active object.
  • Explicit information about special functions is displayed in the dialogue line.
  • Cancels functions
  • Scrolls drawing details (via mouse wheel)
  • Rotates vies dynamically

 

Attention!

Please remember that the effect of a click depends on the cursor setting.
