Mouse button
Function
Left (LMB, RET)
- Activates parts, elements, part groups or other objects (according to the current mode of identification)
- Selects/highlights objects
- Calls functions
- Confirms entries
- Zooms drawing details
Right (RMB, END)
- Activates context menus
- HiCAD displays a pop-up menu whenever you point the cursor at a function for which design variants/sub-functions are available, or one of these functions is already active.
- If an object has been selected, a context menu with appropriate processing options is displayed. If, for example, dimensioning is active, then dimensioning functions are dis-played, or view options if a view is active, etc. The selected object is recognised as the active object.
- Explicit information about special functions is displayed in the dialogue line.
Middle (MMB, ESC)
- Cancels functions
- Scrolls drawing details (via mouse wheel)
- Rotates vies dynamically
