Mitre, with Lengthening (3-D SM)

Sheet Metal > Mitre > With lengthening

Use this function to mitre-cut and lengthen flanges which, while they do not overlap, have the same length. The flanges must be located in one plane.

Of each flange, identify one edge of the longitudinal side or, via right-click, the front side.

The flanges will then lengthened and a mitre is applied. You can now mitre cut more flanges or press the middle mouse button to end the function.
