Mitre, Through Point, with Lengthening (3-D SM)

Sheet Metal > Mitre > wLengthen > Mitre, through point (individual), with lengthening

Use this function to mitre-cut (and lengthen) flanges that do not overlap and do not have the same length. The flanges must be located in one plane.

Of each flange, identify one edge of the longitudinal side or, via right-click, the front side.

This automatically places the first intersection point of the mitre. It is located in the theoretical extension of the internal edges of the flanges.

If you press the middle mouse button instead of activating the second point, the angle bisector is used as the mitre cut.

You can now mitre cut more flanges or press the middle mouse button to end the function.
