Copy Pipeline (PE)

Plant Engineering > Pipeline Tools > Copy pipeline

This function enables you to copy the pipeline, under a different name, within a drawing.

Select the pipeline that you want to copy.
When HiCAD displays the pipeline separately, select a suitable reference point, e.g. on the end of the pipeline by which the pipeline should be joined to another part.
When HiCAD re-displays the drawing, specify the fitting point on which the reference point on the pipeline copy should be set.
You are now prompted to specify a name for the new pipeline. HiCAD checks to see if the has already been assigned to a pipeline in the active drawing. If it already exists, an appropriate message is issued.

If the layout plan containing the pipeline is linked to a P+ID, the reference to the associated P+ID symbol is automatically deleted from the pipeline copy.
