Pipeline Insulations (PE)

In HiCAD you can manage and display pipeline insulations (pipe heating, pipe cooling, pipe insulation).

Insulations are created, similar to straight pipes or elbows, as parts via variants,whose associated records are entered in the HELiOS database by means of data synchronisation. Insulating material, cut to the appropriate length, is assigned as a sub-part to appropriate pipeline parts. You can select the part category via the database, and specify the colour and layer for its representation.

Insulation can be specified for or assigned to:

1. All parts of an entire pipeline (lowest priority)
2. Parts on a guideline
3. An individual pipeline part (highest priority)

All three specifications can exist at once and are then considered according to their priority.
