Motion Simulation: Translation and Rotation Motor (3-D)

For this simulation you use an assembly that consists of the parts shown below. These parts are not linked by HCM constraints. Proceed as follows:

• Select New simulation.
• Right-click the View control symbol and select Deactivate .
• Select the Translation motor function (Part to be moved: Cylinder, Direction: Bottom edge of plate, Velocity: 20 mm/s).
• Select the Rotation motor function (Part to be rotated: Cylinder, Rotation axis: Axis from centre of front surface to centre of back surface, Velocity: 10 mm/s).

• Maximum simulation time: 7 s.
• Time interval for both motors: 0 - 4.5 s.
• Calculate the simulation.
