Axially Parallel Circle Dimensioning (2-D)

Variable

2-D Dimensioning + Text > Circle > Circle dimension > Axially parallel

You can use this function to carry out axially parallel dimensioning for the diameter of a circle or the radius of a circular arc.

The position of the dimensioning depends on the nearest pole. This pole is selected by means of the position of the last point.

  1. Identify the circle or circular arc.
  2. Define the position of the dimension line by means of a point.

(1), (2), (3), (4) the poles
(5) Identification of the circle
(6) Point for the position of the dimension line

Radius

2-D Dimensioning + Text > Circle > Radius > Axially parallel

You use this function to draw axially parallel dimensioning for the radius of a circle or circular arc. This dimensioning has no projection lines. The dimension line points the dimension arrow to the circular arc.

  1. Identify the circle or circular arc.
  2. Use the point options to define the length of the dimension figure.

(1), (2), (3), (4) the poles
(5) Identification of the circle
(6) Point for the position of the dimension figure

Diameter

2-D Dimensioning + Text > Circle > Radius > Axially parallel

You use this function to draw axially parallel dimensioning for the diameter of a circle or a circular arc. The position of the dimensioning depends on the nearest pole. This is determined by means of the point for the dimension line.

  1. Identify the circle or circular arc.
  2. Use the point options to define the length of the dimension line

(1) Identification of the circular arc
(2) Point for the position of the dimension line
