Configuration: Local Session (HELiOS for SolidWorks)

Helios > Options and Settings

The Options and Settings menu item of the HELiOS menu opens a dialogue window consisting of three areas:

Local session: Here you can see the logged on user, the name of the system, and the path of the local session directory. The Select directory button may be greyed out, since it is not possible to switch to the session directory during working in an active SolidWorks drawing. This can also be set via the HELiOS Desktop (select HELiOS Options > Database > SolidWorks > Local session).
Close application: If the Remove documents from session checkbox has been activated, the session directory will be cleared when you end the session (i.e. close SolidWorks). Otherwise the data will be retained.
General configuration: Here you can define initialisation values (see below), if you have administrator rights. Otherwise, you will simply be shown the already assigned initialisation values.
