CAE/CAD Interfaces

HELiOS supports interfaces to the following external software products:

• AutoCAD 2012 - 2017, 32 and 64Bit
• SolidWorks, 2008 - 2016, 64Bit
• Inventor 2008 - 2017, 64Bit
• EPLAN Electric P8 (Version 2.4)

Please note:

• The interfaces can also be added subsequently via the HELiOS Interfaces tab of the HELiOS installation wizard. (in this case, select Change installation),

You can also add them via Windows: Select Start >Default programs > Programs and Features. Then, right-click HELiOS on the list and select Change. Further information can be found in the Installation Notes guide that is supplied with your installation DVD.

• When creating an interface between HELiOS and one of these CAD systems, please make sure that the Bit versions of HELiOS and the external software are identical: For example, an interface between 32Bit versions of external software products and a 64 Bit version of HELiOS 2014 is not possible!
