P+ID > Connections > Update

The options in this pop-up menu enable you to retroactively change representation of intersections in the P+ID and interrupt one of the connection lines on the intersection point.

The following functions are available:

Interrupt connection, individually |
First identify the connection that should remain in the fore-ground, i.e. should not be interrupted, near but not on the intersection point. Next, identify the connection that should be interrupted. |

Interrupt connections, in rectangle |
HiCAD processes all intersections contained in a given box, according to the settings for cross-connections specified in the Connection tab. |

Interrupt connections, entire sheet |
Working in the same way as the In rectangle option, however all intersections on the drawing sheet are processed by this option. |
