Graphics

• The graphical capabilities of HiCAD next P+ID are equivalent to those of HiCAD next 2-D for Mechanical Engineering.

Symbol Libraries

• Libraries of graphical symbols according to DIN 28 004 Part 3
• Easily created User Symbols and Symbol Libraries

Project Management

• Projects with a maximum of 999 P+ID sheets
• Projects can be created, copied a or deleted

Drawing Sheet Management

• With freely definable drawing frames
• Number of paths arbitrarily selectable
• Diverse procedures for path numbering
• Management of plant- and plant unit identification
• P+ID sheet insertion, renumbering, copying and deletion
• P+ID sheet exchange between projects

P+ID Processing

• Symbols can be selected from symbol libraries graphically or via symbol names
• Optional part assignment directly from part files or search masks
• Copy, delete and move symbols and P+ID elements
• Retro-active modification of schema symbols
• Automatic name assignment according to DIN can be switched to KKS designations.
• Automatic link creation with insertion, deletion or moving options for symbols
• Automatic creation of cross references for discontinuation symbols
• The creation, insertion or deletion of modules, i.e. P+ID elements that can be used several times individually or within other projects.
• Document directory

• Part Management takes place via HELiOS (optional)

• The following pre-defined lists are included in our scope of delivery:
• Symbol list (without gauge symbols), gauge symbol list, Pipe part symbol list, Pipeline symbol list, Equipment list (with-out Gauges),
• Equipment list (without Gauges and Pipe parts), Pipe parts list (without pipes), Gauges list.
• You can define your own lists or modify any of those mentioned above.
