Drawing > Plugins > Analysis with ANSYS
Drawings and parts can be exported from HiCAD to ANSYS.
Open the Drawing tab and select Plugins > Analysis withANSYS. Choose one of the following options:
- Active part (only the active part including all sub-parts will be exported to ANSYS)
- Selected parts (only a defined part list will be exported)
- Entire drawing
ANSYS Workbench will be launched automatically. Depending the previous selection, the active part, a defined part list , or the entire HiCAD drawing will then be imported and opened in ANSYS.
Hinweis:
Extended settings of the ANSYS interface can be defined via the Configuration Management (ISDConfigEditor.exe). In the Configuration Editor, select HiCAD > Active configuration > Interfaces > ANSYS Workbench.
Here you can change the Exchange format (for STL, CATIA VS, ACIS, Parasolid, IGES, or ProE; Default is STEP), set ANSYS Workbench Command Line options and the Path to ANSYS Workbench (RunWB2.exe).
A prerequisite for this is that ANSYS Workbench software has been installed on the same system as HiCAD.
