Update Bills of Materials

To take over changes made to a drawing or a product structure, you need to select the functions

• Bill of materials (BOM) in the HiCAD Edit menu, or
• Output from the HELiOS Desktop product structure context menu

once again to update the BOM, whereupon the Report Manager will be started.

The current BOM will be displayed, enabling you to process it as described in previous chapters.

BOM tables in HiCAD drawings

If the current HiCAD drawing contains a BOM table, and the Bill of Materials function is called again, then settings in the current table will be pre-set for the Export - HiCAD tab in the Report Manager.

Please note that settings specified for View (Structure List) or View (Quantity List) are also used when tables are output. If required, you need to save settings in the Report Manager.
