Settings - Export-HiCAD: Column Width

File > Settings > Change > Export - HiCAD

The column width can either be automatically determined by the Report Manager or can be individually defined by the user.

If you want the Report Manager to automatically determine the column width, activate the checkbox Automatic column width.
If you want to define the column width yourself, click on the Define column widths symbol. The dialogue Column width for HiCAD tables will be displayed.

To change the width of a column, place the cursor on the appropriate row of the list window, then press the RMB or the F2-key.

Alternatively, you can activate the value input field by a double-click on the appropriate row. The entered values are in millimeters. If the width is set to "0", it will be automatically calculated by the program.

If you want to assign the same width to several columns, mark the columns with a left-click (or CTRL + LMB, or SHIFT + LMB), then press the RMB.

Other options and fields of the dialogue box are as follows:

Quantity list Structure list	Column widths can be independently set for Structure Lists and Quantity Lists by clicking the appropriate button.
Only list visible columns	Activate this checkbox if you want to display only those columns defined as visible in the View tab.
Total width	Here the total width of a column in a list is shown.
Adapt texts to column width	Activate this checkbox if you want to cut off texts which are too long for the indicated column width.

After completion of all entries, select OK to exit the window.
