Coordinate Systems
Drawing > Others > World CS 
Both in 2-D and in 3-D, HiCAD supports various coordinate systems, thus facilitating the input of coordinate values. Furthermore they affect the orientation of parts when inserted in a drawing and can be referred to when changing parts.
Following coordinate systems are available:

You can access the functions for defining and processing coordinate systems via Drawing > Others > World CS or via the drawing context menu.
Please note:
- When a new drawing is created, the world coordinate system is always active; when a drawing is loaded, the coordinate system that was active when the file was last saved is active!
- HiCAD allows you to display simultaneous coordinates, i.e. the coordinates at which the cursor is currently located.
- A sketch of the coordinate system can be displayed in the drawing as an orientation aid.
