Required Position

Views > Transform > Transform view to required position

A so-called "required position" can be defined for 3-D views. If views have been rotated several times, you can use the Transform view to required position to jump back to this position at any time.

Clicking below the function opens a menu containing the Set as required position function.

Proceed as follows to define a required position:

1. Activate the desired view.
2. Transform the view to the position that you want to use as the required position.
3. Select the Transform view to required position function.

 

Please note:

• The required position also includes the views scale, i.e. the view scale is saved together with the required position and will be restored when you jump back to the required position.
• You can also move views directly via Drag & Drop. To do this, left-click the view frame and, while holding the mouse button down, move the cursor to the desired position.
