Multiple Selection of Texts

The text editor for annotations also allows you to select several text fields for processing. This enables you, for example, to change the font type of the entire text in one step. Selected input fields are indicated by means of a frame around the text. Multiple selection can be applied to

• copying of objects to the clipboard, e.g. of tables to Excel,
• text formatting, i.e. font type, font size and font colour, width factor, line spacing, layer, bold, italic, strikethrough, underline,
• frames and
• the deletion of input fields.

 

Operation:

• Double left-click outside the texts select/deselect all
• CTRL + left-click in the text Add to /remove from the selection list
• SHIFT + left-click in the text Add/remove all input fields in this line
• Left-click in the text Reset multiple selection, activates the input field that has been clicked

 

Functions within the input field

• Double left-click in the text select word
• CTRL + A selects entire text in the input field
• Triple left-click selects entire text in the active input field
