BOM-Relevance
Parts that you want to appear in a Bill of Materials (BOM) need to be identified accordingly, i.e. as "BOM-relevant" in HiCAD. In case of a simultaneous use of the PDM system HELiOS, the part automatically receives such identification during assigning of an article master. If the article master assignment is removed, the part will lose this identification again.
In the dialogue window of the part creation functions, you can identify parts a BOM-relevant during their insertion. To do this, activate in the dialogue window the 
BOM-relevant checkbox.
This can also be done by right-clicking a part (or part list) and selecting Properties > 
BOM-relevance.
Finally, the BOM-relevance of individual parts can also be changed via the Part attributes function.
