Change Parameters of Existing Dimensions

3-D Dimensioning + Text > Tools > Dimension > Parameters

Use the following functions to make subsequent changes to the parameters of an existing dimensioning:

Change parameters

3-D Dimensioning + Text > Tools > Dimension > Parameters, Change parameters

You use this function to make subsequent changes to the parameters of existing dimensions.

Individual

Changes the parameters of individual dimensions

Structure

Changes the parameters of all part dimensions of a dimensioning structure

Rectangle

Changes the parameters of all dimensions the dimension figure of which lies within one or more rectangles (max. 10)

All in part

Changes all dimensions of the active part

All

Changes all dimensions of the active drawing

To change the parameters, the same window is displayed as for the default settings of the different dimensioning types.

  1. Change the desired parameters.
  2. Click OK to exit the window.

Please note:

Same as reference dimension

3-D Dimensioning + Text > Tools > Dimension > Parameters, Same as reference dimension

You use this function to apply the parameters of an existing dimension to other dimensions of your drawing.

Proceed as follows:

  1. First, identify the reference dimension, i.e. the dimension whose parameters you want to apply.
  2. Depending on the function, select the dimensions to which you want to apply the parameters of the reference dimension.
