2-D Part > Transform > Move > Move part, free

Move, with sketch or free

You move parts by identifying fitting points.

1. First identify the part to be moved.
2. Then select the function.
3. Specify the fitting point on the part to be moved.
4. Then specify the end point of the movement.

If you choose the Move, Sketch function, the sketch cursor is used to perform the moving. You can use the +/- keys to adjust the precision of the distance.

Move + Rotate

2-D Part > Transform > Move >Move + Rotate part

This function enables you to move and rotate the active part.

1. Specify the fitting point on the part.
2. Specify the fitting point in the drawing.
3. Define the angle of rotation.

Texts and dimensionings are moved and rotated. The position of the axially parallel dimensioning is preserved.
