Arc Dimensioning

2-D Dimensioning + Text

In Arc dimensioning, the relevant arc length is specified, rather than the central angle of the circular arc.

You have the following identification options of the arc:

via the arc,
via the arc and 2 points (Arc P-P) or
via the centre point of the arc and two other points (P-P-Centre),

you will always find the functions Individual dimensions, Chain dimensions and Parallel dimensions

The projection lines lie parallel to the imaginary angle bisector of the circle sector. You begin at the arc end points. The dimension line is concentric to the arc.

Function	Description
	Individual dimension Individual dimension, Arc P-P Individual dimension, P-P-Centre	The individual dimensions are defined by identifying the arc and a point for the dimension figure.
	Chain dimension Chain dimension, Arc-P-P Chain dimension, P-P-Centre	The chain dimensions create the dimensioning for several point distances or angles to the value of the first dimensioning. (1) Arc (2) Point for dimension figure (3) Succeeding point
	Parallel dimension Parallel dimension, Arc-P-P Parallel dimension, P-P-Centre	Parallel dimensions create all dimensioning units from one common start point.
