to create a revision index for an Article or a Document.
You can find these functions on the Input / Output tab of the Article detail mask, on the Input tab of the Document detail mask, as well as in the context menu of the Article detail mask, the Document detail mask (right-click on empty space in the mask), or an object in a result list (right-click object).
The master data and the graphic with the previous index will be set to invalid and will be archived. The new version of the part or HELiOS object obtains a new index and will be set to active. In this way, the revisions and states of a drawing can be traced back throughout the entire lifecycle of a product.
