Configuration of Assignments in HELiOS
In principle, each table row in the Catalogue Editor, i.e. each data record, is a part, which means an article in HELiOS. The question arises which information of the Catalogue Editor can be assigned to which article attribute in HELiOS.
Attribute assignment - Example
Generally, one distinguishes between the following assignment directions:
- Attribute associativity: Catalogue -> HELiOS Article master management
- Attribute associativity: HELiOS Article master management -> Catalogue
Please note:
The table ID is assigned to the HELiOS article attribute HEL_NORMID, the record ID to the HELiOS article attribute HEL_AUSPRAEGUNGID. The attribute designation is in both cases Standard part designation.
Attribute associativity: Catalogue -> HELiOS Article master management
- When transferring catalogues, tables or records to HELiOS, the catalogue attributes Table ID and Row ID are automatically transferred for each entry. These attributes make the entry identifiable, which enables the record "Catalogue->HELiOS Article master management" to be updated and ensures that updates are only made within the defined assignment.
- For the catalogue attributes
- Catalogue name and
- Table name
optional attribute assignments are possible via HELiOS article master management, which provides the HELiOS user with information. Use the HELiOS Settings function to specify such assignments. There you can specify to which HELiOS attribute the catalogue/table name is to be assigned (if desired).
Example - Assigning of catalogue and table name
- In addition, you can configure any other attributes for a Catalogue -> HELiOS article master management transfer. This takes place via the Column properties in the individual tables. When assigning a HELiOS article master, the appropriate configurations from the catalogue are then transferred to the HELiOS article attribute. Proceed as follows:
- Open the desired table.
- Move the cursor over the column header and right-click.
- Choose Column properties.
- Specify the desired assignments.
- Save the table.
- Transfer the catalogue, the table or the data records to HELiOS.
Example - Assigning of further attributes:
Important:
Please note that no transfer (no "Catalogue->HELIOS article master management associativity) takes place when updating the catalogue. It is therefore possible that the data in the catalogue and in HELiOS article master management do no longer correlate after an update has been made!
Attribute associativity: HELiOS Article master management -> Catalogue
Please note that it is not possible to transfer attribute contents from the HELiOS article master management to the catalogue.
If, for instance, you want the article number to be displayed in the catalogue as well, this needs to be specified via the transfer direction Catalogue -> HELiOS article master management. Proceed as follows:
- Open the desired table.
- In the Catalogue Editor, enter the the HELiOS article number as an assigned attribute in an additional catalogue column, i.e. CUSTOM1.
- Save the table.
- Transfer the catalogue, the table or the data records to HELiOS.
Example- Assigning of the HELiOS article number to additional attribute CUSTOM1
