New Role Workflow

EDBSETUP.EXE > Roles > Role Workflow > New

New Role Workflows can be created in the EDBSETUP.exe tool (in the .../EXE directory of your HELiOS installation).

In the Create Workflow dialogue window, specify the Name, Designation and Type of the Workflow object. HELiOS distinguishes between 9 types:

• 3-D Model Drawing (HiCAD format *.SZA)
• General document (Office documents, graphic files, E-mails etc.)
• DXF
• IGES
• NC-Program
• Part geometry (*.KRA)
• Project (HELiOS Project)
• Article
• Folder (HELiOS Folder object)

When creating the Workflow, the files with appropriate formats, resp. the appropriate objects will be automatically assigned to the selected Type. Besides various CAD formats and interfaces, you can also create the HELiOS Projects and Folders as Role Workflows. Please note that the special Folder Workflows offer further configuration options.
If you select General document, all files which do not correspond to one of the other possible formats will be assigned.
