Open Variant (VAD_Editor)

Select this option to open an existing variant for processing.

1. Select the VAD file of the required variant.
2. The Name of the select variant is displayed in the dialogue box of the Variant Editor. If the variant is structured, the editor displays the source base variant for Options,while HiCAD Variant is always displayed for simple variants.
3. All further processing is carried out in a temporary processing file to which the program copies all data belonging to the given VAD file. The first time you save a new variant, HiCAD creates all relevant files.
