Project: HiCAD P+ID
P+ID > Symbol > Move > Move symbol (rectangle), only X or Y
P+ID > Symbol > Move > Move symbol (rectangle), with sketch
P+ID > Symbol > Move > Move symbol (rectangle), without sketch
The following options are available to move several symbols within a specified rectangle:
|
In rectangle, only X and Y |
This option enables you to move all symbols contained in a given rectangle along the x or y-axis of the sketch grid set for P+ID. |
|
In rectangle, with sketch |
This option enables you to move all symbols contained in a given rectangle in any direction on the sketch grid set for P+ID. |
|
In rectangle, without sketch |
This option enables you to move all symbols contained in a given rectangle without using sketch mode. |
First specify two points to create the required box, and then specify the start and end point of the move.
Normally, connections are always retained after moving the symbols. HiCAD only offers deletion when a moved connection runs diagonally. If symbols are pushed to another joint, they are ignored.
If a connection with a flow-direction arrow is completely contained in a box, the relative position of the arrow on the connection is retained. If only a point of the connection is contained in a box, the flow-direction arrow is moved to the centre of the moved connection.
