Assign Gauge Symbol

P+ID > Symbol > Edit > Assign gauge symbol

This function enables you to assign a gauge symbol to a General type or Pipe part symbol or change an existing assignment.

1. Use the cross-hairs to select the gauge symbol and then the symbol to which it should be assigned.

Some dialogue text entries are automatically assigned to the gauge symbol data mask: The entry for Plant code and Plant unit are taken over from the superior symbol.

• If the superior symbol is a General type symbol:
• with an ID according to DIN the code
• with an ID according to KKS, the aggregate designation

of the superior symbols is entered for the super-ordinate device.

• If the superior symbol is a Pipe part type, entries for Pipeline No. and Internal consecutive No. are taken over from the superior symbol.

Modify Symbol (P+ID)
