Link to 3-D Layout Plan

P+ID > Link to 3-D

The linking of the P+ID to the 3-D layout plan takes place via the functions of Link to P+ID function group on the Plant Engineering tab.

The Link to 3-D function group on the P+ID tab contains various functions for the display of the assigned 3-D layout plan.

Functions		Description
	Assigned 3-D layout plan	Use this function to switch to the 3-D layout plan.
	Show 3-D Part	If you have also opened the 3-D layout plan assigned to the P+ID, you can use this function to show the part that belongs to the selected P+ID symbol.
Pull-down menu Show 3-D
	Check part insertion	Use this function to check whether the symbols of the P+ID have a corresponding, assigned part in the layout plan.
