Select via Gauge Symbol

P+ID > Symbol > Load symbol

This option is only used to insert gauge symbols for measurement purposes (according to DIN 19 227 Part 1). HiCAD displays an appropriate selection window. The form of the symbol indicates the way in which the gauge task is realised, while the horizontal lines in the symbol inform you about output and control location.

Select the required symbol. Specify the position of the symbol by determining a fitting point. Gauge symbols can be inserted as many times as needed. Select ESC to cancel insertion and return to the selection mask of the Load symbol function.

If identifiers according to KKS have been set, a dialogue box appears on your screen after the symbol has been inserted. If Entire plant and Plant unit have been pre-determined for the sheet, these values are already shown in the appropriate fields. Select OK to take dialogue box entries over in the gauge symbol data mask.
