Create Symbol Group

P+ID Library > Symbol group > Create symbol group

If you want to add a symbol group to the currently open library, you need to:

1. Specify a name for the symbol group.
2. Use the cross-hairs to draw a rectangle representing the limits of the symbol group.

This frame should coincide with the boundary of the area and the line-grid. It can be created by selecting a suitable point option for the specification of rectangle coordinates. The group name is inserted in the frame created for the group. Symbols belonging to this group will be subsequently displayed in the frame.

3. You can now either create the next group or exit the function with the middle mouse button.
