Direct Distance

If a distance between two lines is defined, they are simultaneously aligned in parallel. Make sure that the desired reference direction is preserved by specifying other constraints. The distance between a circle (circular arc) and a point/a line depends on the identification point of the circle (see figure).

The distance is defined by the direct connection of the selected element/points.

1. Identify the two elements/points and define the position of the projection line.
2. Then enter the new distance as a value or as a formula.

Once you have entered a formula, the system asks you for the values of the variables. The HCM model is adjusted accordingly.
