Itemisation: Item Numbers and Referencing

Drawing > Itemisation/Detailing > Itemise > Change parameters

Itemisation

The Item number area allows you to specify start number and sorting for the assignment of item numbers.

If you do not want standard parts and general parts to be taken into account during automatic itemising, deactivate the relevant checkbox.

To assign an unambiguous item number to each weld seam of a weld seam part, activate the Each weld seam with own number checkbox. The checkbox is deactivated by default. You can change this presetting in the Configuration Editor at Compatibility > Itemisation up to HiCAD 2017 > Item numbers. There, activate the Each weld seam with own number checkbox.

To remove one or more sort criteria, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the corresponding rows,
  2. Right-click the selection.
  3. Choose Remove selected rows.

To insert new sort criteria, proceed as follows:

  1. Right-click an empty row.
  2. Choose New row. The row is highlighted in green.
  3. Double-click in the Sort attribute column, and choose the sort criterion.
  4. Double-click in the Sequence column and specify the sort order – Ascending or Descending.

Please note that you can set individual start numbers via the Filter settings.

Referencing

You can also directly reference parts during automatic itemisation. To do this , activate the required radio button:

Reference will be assemblies and parts. If you want sub-parts to be referenced as well, additionally activate the with sub-parts checkbox.
