You use these functions to insert

• steel engineering beams and profiles or
• pipes, flanges and fittings for plant engineering.

1. Once you have called the function, the selection window opens.
2. Select the relevant standard part group.

The preview window of the corresponding menu displays the standard part graphically in the side and top views. You can select all required parameters.

3. Select the relevant view.
4. Specify the parameters you want:
5. Choose Insert.

You can now choose between various insertion types:

• With Translation
  Identification of a fitting point in the standard part and in the drawing.
• With Rotation
  Identification of a fitting point in the standard part and in the drawing. Use the middle mouse button to enter the angle of rotation and the right mouse button to choose a reference angle,
• With Similarity
  Identification of a fitting point in the standard part and in the drawing. Enter the scaling factor, the angle of rotation and the part name.
• With Affinity
  Identification of a fitting point in the standard part and in the drawing. Enter the scaling factor in x- and y-directions, the angle of rotation and the part name
