Project: Catalogue Editor

Delete or Add Standards

The left column of the CatalogueMaker displays the given standards – e.g. DIN or ISO. The control box in front of the icon shows if the standard is active or not.

The standard is active, i.e. all tables of this standard have been selected.

The standard is inactive, i.e. all tables of this standard are inactive. Please remember that tables which belong to several standards are not affected. When calling the CatalogueMaker again, a tick with a low intensity will be displayed .

Not all tables of this standard are active. This is the case, for example if you

  • deactivated tables of this standard on purpose or
  • deactivated a standard completely, which includes tables belonging to another (active) standard as well.

Deactivate or activate standards completely

Deactivate the control box in front of the standard icon in order to delete a standard completely. All tables of this standard which do not belong to other standards will automatically be deactivated. If you want to select a standard again completely, activate the control box in front of the standard icon. Please remember: If all control boxes in the left column are inactive, an empty catalogue will be created!

Deactivate or activate individual standards

In order to deactivate individual tables of a standard, leave the control box in front of the standard icon active and deactivate the appropriate catalogues or tables in the catalogue display. You can also deactivate the standard icon and activate the required catalogues and tables.

Proceed as follows to combine your individual catalogue collection:

  1. Select the required standard, catalogue or table by activating/deactivating the appropriate control box.
  2. When you have made your selection, exit the window with OK.
  3. The CatalogueMaker will point out that the generation cannot be reversed. Continue the generation with OK.
  4. The CatalogueMaker will no generate the new catalogue selection for the Catalogue Editor and HiCAD according to settings. The connections of tables will also be checked.
  5. If your selection includes tables with connections to other – not selected - tables, a corresponding hint will be displayed. You will then have the following options:

Yes: the required tables will also be added to the selection.

No: the tables of your selection, affected by theses connections will be deleted from the selection.

Cancel: The generation will not be carried out.

After ending the CatalogueMaker, start all modules with access to the catalogues, e.g. HiCAD and the catalogue editor again.
