The HiCAD Viewer

The HiCAD Viewer is a tool enabling a quick and easy viewing and evaluation of HiCAD 2-D and 3-D drawings - even for non-HiCAD users.

Numerous functions, from dynamic rotation and zooming, various viewing and visualisation options to measuring functions for 2-D elements and 3-D distances are available to the user. Use the multiple windows technology to drag drawing elements, parts and assemblies from the Viewer into other applications, e.g.Office applications or HiCAD. This working technique enables you to arrange assemblies in HiCAD conveniently with a few mouse-clicks. In addition, you can display other file formats such as TIFF, JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF or EMF with the Viewer.

You start the HiCAD Viewer as follows:

• click "Start" on the Windows taskbar and select the Programs > ISD ..., folder, then select the Viewer symbol

or

• click the Viewer icon on the desktop

or

1. open the HiCAD_VIEWER2010 file (e.g. in the HiCAD EXE directory)
