Plate from 3-D Part (3-D SE)

Steel Engineering > Plate, new > FromSol

You use this function to convert a 3-D solid into a plate part

  1. Identify the 3-D part
  2. Select a material.
  3. Choose OK to exit the Material window.

 

Nothing changes optically in the drawing.

Note, however, that the 3-D part is converted into a plate and that this also changes the part name and the article number (designation). This is BL nn, where nn is the plate thickness.
