Move Points (P+ID)

This function enables you to move all points in an optional selection box, i.e. all element end points, isolated points, symbol connecting points and fitting points as well as connection points. Lines between these points are appropriately adapted. This enables you, e.g. to stretch or compress several symbols simultaneously. Horizontal or vertical connections that are askew as a result of the movement can be temporarily retained or deleted. Please make sure that symbols that have been shifted or enlarged are not set on existing connections as they are not automatically separated.

Proceed as follows:

1. Create a rectangular box specified by two points over the area to be moved.
2. Specify the start point and the end point of the displacement vector in sequence.

If horizontal or vertical connections are askew as a result of the moving, HiCAD asks, if you want to delete askew connections.

Before responding, please remember that askew connections are only temporarily valid, e.g. for incremental moving.

When you invoke this function, all layers enclosed in the selection box, including layer 0 (invisible objects), are automatically displayed before you create the selection box. Layer 0 is then automatically hidden after the function has been executed.
