Equal Parameters, Equal Direction (HCM3D)

3-D Standard > HCM > Fix > Equal parameters/Equal direction

The functions Equal parameters and Equal direction can be accessed via 3-D Standard > HCM > Fix .

These functions enable the setting of Positional constraints which first require the identification of a reference geometry in order to apply the parameters of this geometry to another geometry in the following step.

When using the Equal parameters constraint, all parametric properties of the reference geometry will be assigned to this element; when using the Equal direction constraint, the direction of the reference geometry will be applied.
