Zooming with the Mouse

You can also use the mouse directly to modify screen displays in HiCAD.

You can use the mouse wheel to maximise/minimise the screen display as required.

You can also use the mouse to define a rectangular zoom window:

1. Press and hold down the LMB.

2. Draw a rectangle around the area you want to zoom.

The drawing detail within the zoom window will then be maximally enlarged. If you place your rectangle accordingly, you can also perform a Move action of the drawing area in one step.

You can move the entire screen display by simultaneously pressing and holding down the LMB and MMB. Alternatively, you can perform the displacement by simultaneous pressing of the CTRL key and the MMB.

You can also zoom your drawings by pressing and holding down the SHIFT key and the MMB.

You can also activate the Zoom context menu by pressing the middle mouse button, followed immediately by the right mouse button.

The zoom factor when scrolling with the mouse is defined by the Zoom factor.
