Remove Part from Pipeline (PE)

To remove a component from a pipeline, you first need to identify the required part.

Select the appropriate part from the selection menu.

The previously selected part is deleted. If any arbitrarily divisible pipes are joined to connection 1 or 2 (directly or by flanges), they can be automatically deleted together with any associated flanges.

If a search based on pre-settings (e.g. pipe class) and given search criteria returns several parts, select the appropriate line in the result list, and click the Process icon. A straight pipe in the required length is automatically placed on the guideline.

Please note:

• The part you want to remove must be joined to connection 1 or 2 by an arbitrarily divisible pipe directly or by flanges.
• If you want to remove a part that has a third connection, e.g. a T-piece, neither a guideline nor another part must be joined to it.
