3-D Standard >Tools > Attr. > Part property in sectional view/cut-out
Use this function to determine the behaviour of the active part in views that are derived from the active view, such as sectional views, detail views, cut-outs or linked view.
If you activate the function, the following dialogue window will be displayed:
In the Cut in area you specify, by activating or deactivating the corresponding checkboxes, whether the active part will be considered in sectional views, detail views and cut-outs.

In the Apply to area you specify whether the settings will apply to the active view only, or to all views, and whether they will also apply to sub-parts of the active part.
If existing sectional views are to be updated, activate the Update sectional view checkbox.
Define the desired settings and exit the dialogue window with OK.
