When a polyline or composite edge of a sketch is created, it is assigned a unique composite edge number internally. Many functions allow composite edges with consecutive numbers to be combined temporarily into a composite edge block and to be processed like an individual composite edge.
To select sketch elements via their number or to temporarily specify a composite edge block, press the right mouse button within the composite edge function in question.

If you do not want the composite edges to be manipulated, but used, say, as a copy template, you can use similar functions to select any part you require:

 C-edge block with part selection

 C-edge number with part selection

 All c-edges with part selection

The composite edge number is, for example, displayed in the Information
 > 3-D, Polyline function.
