Sketch > Draw > Arc
Use this function to insert circular arcs into the active sketch or 3-D sketch. The arc is created via specification of the centre point, the start point and end point.
Clicking opens a menu with further arc functions.
Arc, CP + Radius Creates an arc via specification of the centre point, the radius, the start point and the end point of the circular plane. These points do not necessarily need to lie on the circular arc! |
Arc, P-P-P Creates an arc via specification of 3 points. |
Arc, P-P-Radius Creates an arc via definition of the start and end points and specification of the radius. |
Arc, P-P-Angle Creates an arc via definition of the start and end points and specification of the radius. |
Arc, P/GE-Radius-P/GE (no free points) Creates an arc via definition of two points or edges and specification of the radius. |
Arc, P/GE-P/GE-P/GE (no free points) Creates an arc, tangential to three edges or points. |
Circular arc, transition Creates an arc transition between 2 edges. Identify the first edge in the vicinity of its start point, and the second edge in the vicinity of the its end point. For both identification types, HiCAD uses the point information as well as the edge information (tangent information). |
Creates a curve with a moderated curvature (Hermite spline) between 2 points. |
