Activate the
view you want and call the Shorten view function.
Choose one of
the following steps:
Use the Delete button under Shortened views to delete the shortened
view. This removes all shortenings of the active view.
or
Use the Copy shortened view function to copy the shortening directions
of another view. Note that you will lose the shortenings of the current
view.
or
Remove a shortening direction by choosing the relevant number under Direction of shortening and then press the Remove button
or
Remove individual
division areas of a shortening. To do this, choose the number of the shortening
direction in the Direction field, click the Remove button under Area and identify the area you want.
or
Add further shortening
directions.
Repeat step 2
for further processing.
Click Preview
to display the shortened view.
If you want to
apply the shortening, exit the dialogue window by choosing Create/Apply.
Please note:
Click the Direction > Remove button to remove a view shortening.
If the view cannot be shortened, e.g. because a shaded OpenGL view is active, HiCAD issues an appropriate message. You can then decide what to do next. You can, for instance, change the type of representation and continue the function at once.
