Change GE into Symbol Line (2-D)

2-D Geometry > Change > Symbol line

The functions of this menu enable you to change the display type of lines.

You can display

as a symbol line. The sealing and insulating materials are represented according to DIN 201.

 

Function

Description

  1. Draw a 2-D polyline (it may also contain circular arcs).
  2. Select a function for displaying the ground.
  3. Then choose the identification type.

You can choose either Individual, In rectangle or Polyline.

  1. Identify the lines.

You can identify several lines in turn. The display is changed immediately. You can right-click to end the function, and then select another line correction.

You use these functions to display sealing material and foils with different reference points in accordance with DIN 201.

  1. Construct a 2-D polyline (it may also contain circular arcs).
  2. Select one of the two functions.

The functions differ, depending on whether the reference is centre or outer. For outer reference, the position of the reference line can be swapped (up/down). You use the Swap reference function to reverse the polyline direction.

  1. Enter the symbol thickness and the symbol stretching.
  2. Choose the identification type.

You can choose either Individual, In Rectangle or Polyline. You can identify several lines in turn. The display is changed immediately. Right-click to end the function.

This function enables you to display insulating material in accordance with DIN 201.

  1. Construct a 2-D polyline (it may also contain circular arcs).
  2. Select the function.
  3. Enter a factor for the symbol thickness.
  4. Select the identification type.

You can choose either Individual, In Rectangle or Polyline. You can identify several lines in turn. The display is changed immediately. You can right-click to end the function, and then select another line correction.

In the case of insulating material, the reference is external. This allows the orientation of the hatching to be swapped by means of the Swap reference function.

You can change the symbol thickness and stretching in a range from 1/1000 to 1000.

The Foil, outer reference and Insulating material functions enable you to swap the position of the reference line (up/down) by reversing the polyline direction.
