2-D Part > Standard Parts
The procedure for fitting standard parts is the same for the following functions:
There are minor differences in the selection, depending on the complexity of the standard products. The standard part is subordinate to the active part.
You use the catalogue editor to define the parameters, the fitting priority and the material selection. Please read the information in the Online Help chapter for the Catalogue Editor (CATEDITOR.EXE in the HiCAD EXE directory).
Invalid or replaced standards are identified in the selection window by the symbol.
Standard parts which are highlighted yellow-green in the right selection window are linked to HELiOS part master attributes via the Catalogue Editor (CATEDITOR.EXE). For further information, please refer to the Catalogue Editor Online Help chapter

The selection window containing the bolt types (cylinder head bolts, countersunk bolts, ...) opens. It is represented as a tree structure as is customary in Windows.
The right-hand window contains all available standardized bolts.
The fitting mask is displayed.
The fitting direction is indicated by an arrow.
The standard part is displayed visibly at the cursor.
After fitting, the standard part is made available again for fitting. You terminate the insertion operation with a right-click and can now choose between the following functions
You end the function by double-clicking the right mouse button.
2-D Part > Standard Parts > Bore > Change Standard Processing
Once the standard part has been identified, the corresponding DIN series are displayed. You can now select a new standard part and then re-define the fitting direction and the fitting point.
