Trimming lines means aligning them to other objects of your choice. HiCAD provides the following functions for the trimming of lines:

This function deletes line sections up to the next intersection point. Intersection points of lines, circular arcs and circles are permitted for this. The two closest intersection points are sought from the identified line segment. The part between the intersection points is deleted. |

This function enables you to delete intersecting graphical elements at a trim edge. Select the section to be deleted and specify the trim edge. |

A graphical element is separated by inserting two points, and then the desired area is deleted. First identify the graphical element in the area to be trimmed and then specify the two points. |

This function enables you to delete a polyline between two intersection points. To do this, identify the polyline in the area to be trimmed. The polyline is traced on both sides to the next intersection point. The area of the polyline between the two intersection points found is deleted. |
